　この前このＤＶＤ衝動買いして、少し見たけど、結構良い感じ。カーリー・サイモンがクルーズ船でディナーショーみたいな感じのライブでジャズ・スタンダードを歌うという、まあ、ありがちな企画なんだけど。やっぱり、この人はいい。セクシーでさばけた恋多き女、というのが、この人のポジションだけど、それってアメリカの女性にとっても、やっぱり一つの理想だったんだろうなあ。
　この人歌は上手いけど、ジャズ・スタンダードバリバリ歌うというよりは、キャラクターで見せてくれるという感じかなあ。昔のファンが今どういう形で彼女の歌を聞きたいか？というときに、こういう形になるんだろうな。「トーチ」なんて昔からやってたし。
　"You're So Vain"って、そういえばミック・ジャガーがコーラスやってたんだよな。聴いてて、あっ、そうだ、と思いだした。これはやっぱり名曲。オリジナルのミックのねちっこいコーラスがたまらない。公式ホームページ見たら、『いまだにこの歌はどの男のこと歌った歌なのか?って聞かれるのよ、ウッフン』コーナーというのがあって、参った。上の公式ＨＰでもまるまる一曲聞ける。
　国内盤では廃盤が多くて、あまりＣＤも揃っていないけど、今聞いても良いと思うんだけどな。誰かカバーでもすればいいのに。「スパイ」とか、また聞きたいのになあ。レコード売っちゃったんだよなあ。。。
